LEARN THEM/LOVE THEM/LIVE THEM
1. Get to class on time, and find some wood, or plastic as the case may be.
2. All work is to be turned in, the day it is due. Work turned in a day late will result in a ZERO. NO EXCEPTIONS.
3. Disruptions in class will not be tolerated. See demerit chart.
4. Use the bathroom prior to entering class. Unless you have an emergency, you'll have to hold it. An unscheduled visit will count as a tardy.
5. Always bring your text book, loose leaf paper, planner, and writing utensil to class (unless otherwise specified). I was not put on this earth to provide these for you. Inability to remember these items will result in demerits.
6. Always bring something to read. Appropriate magazines, books, or newspapers are allowed. The more you read, the smarter you will become.
7. In no shape or form are you to disrespect, or in any way be intolerant of your classmates, teachers or subs. This is the harshest violation you can commit.
8. You will remain in your seats at all times, unless told otherwise.
9. You are not to be talking while myself or another student is. Its just rude.
10. There is to be no pop, or other food groups brought into the room. I see it, I keep it.
11. Cheating on tests will result in a zero grade. Copying others homework will result in a zero grade for both parties.
12. Quarter grades in this class are based on a variety of learning experiences. Some points and grades are rewarded when your participation in class is necessary for the learning the material. Group discussions, group work, computer labs, and movie discussions cannot be made up with alternative assignments; therefore, it is extremely important that you attend class. While your grade will not be lowered for absences, excessive absences may result in a lowered grade because you miss work that cannot be duplicated in any type of make-up work.
As expressed in the above rules, a demerit system has been implemented for the school year. Below you will see the number of demerits given for violation of each of the aforementioned rules.

Grades will be given on a percentage of points earned compared to those points possible. Tests, current events quizzes, homework, projects and papers will be counted into this equation. And, as always, extra credit will be given for singing the following at some time during the semeseter.
Cheer, cheer for Old Notre Dame
Wake up the echoes cheering her name,
Send the volley cheer on high,
Shake down the thunder from the sky,
What tho the odds be great or small
Old Notre Dame will win over all,
While her loyal sons are marching Onward to Victory.
