About Paris School District 95

Our mission is every student, every opportunity, every day. 

Paris Union School District 95 serves 1,229 pre-K-12th grade students across five schools in the City of Paris. 

Paris is located in Edgar County in east-central Illinois, roughly 165 miles south of Chicago and 90 miles west of Indianapolis. The district was founded in 1826 and is a charter district in the state of Illinois. 


Our Facilities

The Creative Center for Children, a preschool serving prekindergarten students), was opened in 2006. 

Memorial Elementary School, which serves pre-K-2nd grade students, was constructed in 1958. 

Carolyn Wenz Elementary School, which serves 3rd-5th grade students, was constructed in 1952. 

Mayo Middle School, which serves 6th-8th grade students, was constructed in 1927. 

Paris Cooperative High School, which serves 9th-12th grade students, was constructed in 2015.
