NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROPERTY TAX INCREASE FOR
PARIS UNION SCHOOL DISTRICT 95

I.         A public hearing to approve a proposed property tax for Paris Union School District  95 for 2025 will be held on December 8, 2025 at 5:15 p.m. at  Paris Union School District 95, 300 South Eads Ave., Bldg B.,  Paris, Illinois.

Any person desiring to appear at the public hearing and present testimony to the taxing district may contact Mary Morgan Ryan, (telephone 217/465-8448).

II.        The corporate and special purpose property taxes extended or abated for the year 2024 were $ 3,872,146.

The proposed corporate and special purpose property taxes to be levied for 2025 are $ 4,200,618.  This represents an 8.48% increase over the previous year.

III.       The property taxes extended for debt service and public building commission leases for 2024 were $ 700,492.

The estimated property taxes to be levied for debt service and public building commission leases for 2025 are $ 706,994. This represents a 1.01% increase over the previous year.

IV.      The total property taxes extended or abated for 2024 were $4,572,641. 
The estimated total property taxes to be levied for 2025 are $4,907,614.
This represents an 7.3% increase over the previous year.

V.       This resolution shall be in full force and effect forthwith upon its passage.
